Big Bad Hair is hosted by this guy, Kennedy, an award-winning journalist and critic who has spent the last 25 years thinking really hard about music, movies, books and TV. It all began in the 1980s, when he had big hair, tight jeans, three chords and cowboy boots. A lot of that has changed since then; he now knows four chords.

He’ll be joined by various guests to discuss the music of the 1980s, from gloomy goth to sunny pop, from jangly roots-rock to hairsprayed metal lite. Music was different back then. So was Kennedy. And so were you.
